This is a day of solidarity with the Libyan people. The organizers are calling out to governments worldwide to recognize the Libyan plight and ACT!!!!
-The recognition of the Libyan Transitional National Council as the de facto legitimate representative of the Libyan people.
-The imposition of no-fly zone on Libyan airspace, under the doctrine
of Responsibility to Protect.
-The lifting of the Libyan arms embargo as related to the Libyan National
Transitional Council.
– The issuance of arrest warrants for Gaddafi, his family and regime members responsible for the crimes being committed against the Libyan people.
-IMMEDIATE action to halt any material support being provided by
nations such as Algeria and Syria to Gadaffi’s regime.
-The expansion of the asset freeze to include other senior officials
and family members exempted in the UN Resolution 1970.
– Continued humanitarian support
