MARL Panel Discussion on Racism

The Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties presents

A lunch hour panel discussion on current issues surrounding racism

mar-21Speakers: Slone Phan (Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council), Sacha Paul (the lawyer who represented Amnesty International at the Supreme Court on the Omar Khadr case), and former Lieutenant-Governor John Harvard.

Time: 12:00 – 1:00pm

Date: Sunday March 21, 2010

Place: Mondragon café, 91 Albert Street

Refreshments: A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Admission: free; all are welcome.

MARL will be hosting an event on Sunday, March 21st, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.   There will be time for questions, discussion and delicious food.  Please come out and make our event a success. Also please feel free to invite everyone that you think would be interested.
