Candlelight Vigil for Gaza Massacre 2009 Victims

On May 15, 1948, the people of Palestine endured forced expulsions and the destruction of their communities; this time is known as Al Nakba (The Catastrophe).

The Israeli invasion of Gaza (December 27th, 2008 – January 17th, 2009) left 1,314 killed, 412 of whom were children. 5,450 people were injured; 4 000 homes were demolished; 50 UN buildings were hit. Tens of thousands are homeless.

Join Canadian Muslims for Palestine for prayers, speeches, poems, Nakba Testimonies and a candlelight vigil for victims of the 2009 massacre in Gaza.

Where: Manitoba Legislature

Please bring a candleholder to prevent wax from falling on the premises. Remember to also bring your candle!
