Winnipeg’s Walk 4 Darfur will hold a run/walk on October 5, 2008 in order to raise awareness and funds in response to the ongoing genocide in Darfur, Sudan. The money raised will go toward humanitarian aid and impacting policy.

The genocide in Darfur has precipitated a massive humanitarian crisis; 350,000 people have been killed and 2.5 million displaced. Those who have escaped to refugee camps live in constant fear, hunger, and threat of disease. Right now, we have the chance to act!
