Jan. 17, 2026: Winnipeggers rallied in front of the building that houses the United States Consulate to voice opposition to US military and economic attacks on Venezuela and other Latin American countries. The action, which was part of an international day of action, was organized by Peace Alliance Winnipeg and endorsed by Canadian Muslims for Palestine, Labour for Palestine (Winnipeg), Manitoba-Cuba Solidarity, Communist Party of Canada (Manitoba), World Beyond War, and University of Manitoba Students for Cuba.
