Pedro Cayuqueo is a journalist and member of Chile’s largest indigenous community: the Mapuches. His talk will focus on the violations of the Mapuche people, their trials in military courts, the destruction of their land, the exploitation by the state and mining and forestry companies, and their campaigns of resistance.
