Israel and Palestine Through the Eyes of a Jewish UN Worker:
Perspectives of a Winnipeger working in Israel/Palestine

talk with discussion followed by Shabbat dinner potluck

When: Friday evening, September 4, 2009, 6 – 10 PM
Where: Wildwood Community Centre, 271 North Drive, off Pembina east towards the Red, near the river in the Wildwood Peninsula, Winnipeg, MB

Please bring a vegetarian dish to share, simple fare, and/or drinks-dessert, and please be scent free for those chemically sensitive. For people bussing from Wolseley/W. Broadway, a 29 on Maryland to the terminus is happily met 5 minutes later by a 94 going into Wildwood, and getting you there for 5:57.

Aaron will share stories and perspectives on the Middle East and then answer questions in the spirit of dialogue and discussion. We will end the discussion close to 8 and share a Shabbat dinner, with Kiddush and challah. Light snacks shall be available for those needing to eat earlier.
