Moncada Day (Winnipeg)

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Moncada Day 2026! It’s the 73rd anniversary of this most important Cuban holiday on Sunday, July 26 at St. Vital Park from 5-9 p,m, We’ve booked the double Oak/Aspen shelter so we’re fine even if it rains. There will be live music performances, a presentation on the history and significance of Moncada Day for the Cuban Revolution, and messages of greetings from other organizations supporting Cuba. It will be a potluck supper, so please bring something to share if you can. There’s no charge, but donations always appreciated.

The Park entrance is at 190 River Road; once inside keep to the right and follow the road a couple of minutes in; the shelter is on the left with a parking lot across and there is ample parking right on the road too. Watch for Cuban flags!
