It’s time to leave NATO

NATO represents the greatest threat to world peace and stability. Canada’s membership directly involves Canadians in NATO’s militarism, wars and prepartion for new wars. A NATO summit will take place on July 7 and 8 in Ankara, Turkey. Peace Alliance Winnipeg is holding two actions calling for Canada to get out NATO. Come to one or both.

Bring the message: “No to War,” “No to War Spending,” “Canada Out of NATO for World Peace.” Bring your signs against NATO, War, Military spending AND to end NATO’s war in Ukraine.

1. To the Liberal Government of Mark Carny: Saturday, July 4, 12 p.m. at the Constituency Office of Liberal MP Ben Carr, 611 Corydon Ave. We will gather for a group photo as part of the mobilization across Canada for July 7 and 8.

2. On the first day of the NATO Summit: Tuesday, July 7, 5 p.m. Assemble on the four corners of River and Osborne
