I am Afghan, but I strongly support Malalai Joya and know that she is very right to say "GET OUT OF OUR LAND" to the US/NATO troops. Because know everyone in their right mind know that these govt.s are playing with our destiny and for eight years they only killed innocent people but have back door dealings with terrorists and even pay money to Taliban and other terrorists. YOU NEED to read more about Afghanistan and then write anything.

Is it wise to believe that the US and biggest military pact in the world --NATO-- jointly unable to eliminate a small, medieval and ignorant group such as Taliban?? Actually terrorism is just an excuse, they need to change Afghanistan into military base in Asia , they want to change Afghanistan into opium capital of the world an gain hundreds of billion out of it, they want to have their gripe on gas and oil of CAR and so on...

Those Afghan ladies who say to these troops not to leave, are mostly in the capital, Kabul, where they usually act as payees of these troops and have hight posts in the govt. and get large salaries to have a luxury live, of course such people know by withdrawal of troops, their luxury life will also go. But majority of Afghans who suffer in remote areas of Afghanistan are badly fed up and the occupation as it only pushed them to more disasters.

The occupation forces support drug mafia, terrorism, warlords and the corrupt govt of Hamid Karzai. All of the criminals like Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf, Burhanuddin Rabbani, Younis Qanoni, Mohaqiq, Dostum, Abdullah, Khalili, Fahim etc. (all of them accused of war crimes by Human Rights Watch) are best friends of the US and allies today. And they are also calling on Mullah Omer to join the govt, very funny, SO how Afghan can support their war which is agianst our ordinary people and for brutal men and forces??

And no one can expect that the US will bring democracy and justice to any country while there is no justice in their own country and millions are hungry and in poverty.

The US history is full of aggression, war, crime, brutality and supporting of dictators, criminals and enemies of democracy, so will the US anything contrary to it in Afghanistan??

Long Live Great Joya, she is the true voice of Afghan poor people!

I am an Afghan-Canadian living in Toronto, Ontario. I have lived and suffered under the Communist, the Mujahideen and the Taliban regimes in Afghanistan and I still have family members living in Afghanistan. I was shocked listening to Malalai speaking. I do not think what she talks about makes sense. As a wise Afghan, I know what implications her words would have for the civilians of Afghanistan and the International community.

I have no idea why the international community and the human rights groups around the world are fooled by Malalai Joya's story, an ordinary woman from Afghanistan . I think probably because it is easier to raise money using her as a tool . Every Afghan is a victim of the actions of the Communist Regimes, the Mujahideen groups(warlords), and the Taliban . A wise person would not be fooled by what Malalai Joya is talking about . She asks for a withdrawal of the International Security Assistance Force (which she calls the occupying force) from Afghanistan without ever thinking about what would happen if the withdrawal happens . She probably knows that withdrawal of the International Force would take Afghanistan back to a stage of anarchy, but she does not want to mention it because then she would not be called a Revolutionary .

The people of Afghanistan are sick and tired of revolutions . They want gradual change, but no more revolutions . People are happy that the Afghan National Army and the Police are getting their strength . People of Afghanistan know the importance of the Army and the Police and that is why they (the wise ones) support the International Security Assistance Force in helping their country build these important institutions . Every Afghan has suffered and everyone finds the Taliban, the warlords and the previous regimes their enemies . Every Afghan wants an end to the war . Every Afghan knows about the presence of corruption in Afghan government . But Afghans do not want to throw their government out and they do not want their law enforcement agencies to be dissolved . They want gradual change, not a revolution . They hate their political leaders, but they (the wise ones) have due respect for their law enforcement agencies .

When Malalai calls for a withdrawal of International Force and tell the world to "leave Afghan people alone", she is adding her voice to that of the Taliban and the warlords . She even opposes the Afghan National Army and the Police by calling them "a dollar Army" . By calling the International Security Assistance Force an “occupying army”, Malalai fuels insurgency and suicide bombing in Afghanistan . She makes Afghan’s lose hope in their government and law enforcement agencies and encourages them to revolt . As an Afghan youth, I know what kind of impact words like "occupation" and "invading army" has for the illiterate people of Afghanistan. These two words could be used to persuade Afghans to revolt against the West, creating a new generation of suicide bombers and terrorists. Osama Bin Laden uses Islam as a tool against the West, Malalai exploits the emotions of the poor civilians of Afghanistan. She cannot be a representative of the people of Afghanistan . Her reaction and attitude is a true reflection of her personal rivalries with the members of the Afghan parliament, definitely not a voice of the Afghan people and Afghan women.

To achieve peace in Afghanistan , the military support of the International Community is badly needed . The Taliban and the Warlords cannot be finished without the establishment of a strong National Army and the Police . The presence of the International Troops provides an opportunity for the Afghan National Army and the Police to get strong and take on the responsibility to enforce the laws of Afghanistan .

In the past 8 years, so much has been achieved in Afghanistan. Let's not forget what was happening before the Intentional Military Force went in. Today Afghan people are happy that their country is soon going to be able to have its own Army and Police force. It would not have been possible without the support of the International Community. The progress in Afghanistan can be measured by comparing the current conditions with the conditions prior to US military invasion in 2001. You cannot measure the progress of Afghanistan by comparing the status of its women with status of the women in the West. The achievements in the West are the result of over 300 years of work. Afghanistan has just started and you cannot bring it up to the level of the West within 8 years.

I do not understand why the International Community is still fooled by Malalai Joya. There is definitely something fishy here .
