The Peace Alliance Winnipeg, Canada-Palestine Support Network and Jews for a Just Peace – Winnipeg will be holding an action on December 2, at the Manitoba Legislature starting at 1 p.m.
The action is part of an International Day of Action to focus world attention on the continuing state organized violence against the Palestinians living in Gaza. Gaza has been under a virtual state of seige for several months. While a ceasefire is now in place between Palestinian and Israeli forces, the urgency of the situation remains.The bombing has stopped but the seige continues.
